HLW Associates offers a specialized academic proofreading and editing service to international students who wish to ensure their PhD theses and dissertations reach the high standard of English required by universities.
We use Track Changes rather than direct (i.e. 'invisible') edits to a text. Students for their part must know how to use Track Changes and again be responsible for considering each suggested correction (rather than simply 'accepting all').
Note to non-native English writers: We can ensure that your writing reads like native English. Having fluent knowledge of several foreign languages and a wealth of experience in ESOL teaching, we know how difficult it is to be accurate and understood in the written form, and can assist with additional emphasis on sense and grammar.
